PRESSES FOR OTHER PRODUCTS
Babbini presses can be used also in the agro-industrial field and in the field of biomasses, as well as to process several products that need to be drained-off their liquid part. From the mid 1980s Babbini also started the manufacturing of presses for fishmeal, rendering (meat, bones), alfalfa, agro-industrial byproducts, organic and medical wastes treatment, pomace, alternative energies and much more.

MIXING AND DRYING
Babbini’s experience in the manufacturing of big complex machines could be successfully applied to other industrial fields, different from the pressing field. This led to the designing and manufacturing of two machines specifically intended for mixing and drying, for continuous heavy-duty operation, for the processing of powdery, abrasive and chemically aggressive products, such as fertilisers, additives for animal feed and salt.
These two machines are both extremely sturdy and reliable, and therefore they are perfectly suitable for their intended 24/24h application. The mixer is a compact machine, extremely performing in the mixing of solids with liquid fractions, even in presence of chemical reactions. The dryer is a small-size machine, suitable to dry difficult products that tend to agglomerate, assuring a granulometric homogeneity as well as a thermal efficiency.
These two machines can be installed on the same processing line, for which Babbini can also design all the surrounding plants (automation, transport, dosage, filtration, heat, etc.). The dryer and the mixer, just like the presses, can be customised on the basis of the actual process conditions and needs, thus assuring the usual Babbini standards for what concerns efficiency and reliability.
